So I’ve been away for a while, because quite frankly my life has been too hectic to attempt to make posts.
Anyway a quick recap of my life.

My laptop broke right before I finished my website for the BA Show, so an unfinished product went into the show that I wasn’t overly happy with but it was better than nothing.
I managed to finish my Project 2 for Art 414, the brochure turned out a lot nicer than I had expected it to, and the changes my group suggested really helped the look of it.
My website for Art 317 project 3 is working out rather well. Almost done with the first prototype of it.
My ISC classes are winding down and I have a little more work to do in them than I hoped I’d have but, whatever, it’s all for the best I suppose.
My website I’m making as an Oswego Resident calendar is shaping up to be a nice little project. And I must say that the Google calendar and search functions that they offer are great.
I managed to convince myself I wanted to go to grad school and that I didn’t all in a matter of a month

Binghamton University

I am glad I got to see Binghamton in the NCAA tournament even though they did lose quite handily at the hands of Duke in the first round. Hopefully I am able to see this at one point during my lifetime where they actually win a game or two or five in a row and actually win the whole thing by some miracle of science.

Well now that the semester has decided it is going to end in two months, all my classes have decided they want to get incredibly busy for the rest of the year. My 414 class has 3 projects left to be completed after tomorrow, Web Design has 2, I have a project and presentation due in one of my Information Science classes, and I have a presentation, project and 12 software reviews due in another ISC class. If I ever wanted to quit everything and just be a bum for the rest of my life it is right now.

I can see myself getting very little sleep for the rest of the year, especially if I am unable to remove my terrible habit of procrastinating until the last minute. I hope that at one point during the next six hours that I have an epiphany and I become an incredibly diligent worker who does not procrastinate, but as I do not see that happening I am going to end up making myself incredibly tired, and bedraggled by the time I graduate to where I may not even physically be able to walk at graduation.

Congratulations Binghamton University

In Binghamton University’s first nationally televised game at their events center, they won the America East Conference for the first time and earned their first ever bid to the NCAA tournament in six years as a Division one school. Even though I attended Binghamton University for only three semesters, I still feel a sense of school pride. This being said, they do have a rough road ahead. They are a 15 seed and play Duke in the first round. I wish them luck and I hope I will be able to watch Thursday night.

New song for you guys to check out. Pandora is really good to me lately. It is called Breakfast Club by Z-Trip featuring Murs and Supernatural. No link today, though, it’s time for you guys to find it yourselves if you so desire. It’s a hip hop song, so if you seriously HATE that genre don’t check it out. But if you don’t usually listen to hip hop, give this one a shot anyway, it is pretty funny.

In other news, my first draft of project one is up on the Oswego page. It can be found by clicking this. I’ve got a few things I should work on adding to it, like a bottom navigation to other pages besides the first to add consistency. Or adding the navigation for the pages in the project on my links page. Little changes, which makes me feel pretty good about what I put together.

In Art 414 news, one page of my portfolio, my resume, and cover letter are due at 6:30 tomorrow. I’m pretty close to being done, but not totally yet, I luckily have enough time and the ability to work on these and get them done by the end of my Art 414 class.

And in related news to my last post, I’ve pretty much gotten over senioritis and luckily for me it’s right before spring break. Which means, the only things I’m bringing home are my clothes, and my work. No distractions can come home with me except for my collection of movies because I rarely watch them while I’m home anyway. But for the off chance I’ll want a break (yeah right) I’ll have something to watch.

I’m going to be so busy, for so many reasons while I’m home.

That is the only thing running through my head right now. A whole lot of incoherency and nothing else. I am luckily able to have three free days to be able to get back into the swing of things as far as work is concerned. I just guess I have to get over this case of senioritis before the beginning of next week otherwise the rest of this semester will not be a fun time at all.

To those 9 people I got to vote in my poll, I would like to thank you. For those of you stumbling in here for the first time, or those of you who may have missed it, I am certain there will be more. And the lucky people who voted for Tallest Ice Cream Store were the winners. I have yet to decide what to do with page, but I am pretty sure that my idea will be to have a large planet sized ice cream store surrounded by the other planets in our solar system. And for those of you who wanted to know what the 9 categories are, you will have to wait, because it didn’t win I did not come up with any.

On a random note, my roommate has completely convinced me that the artist known as Flo Rida is really called Florida, slightly off topic but I needed to get it down somewhere.

First Signs of Spring

I would have posted this yesterday but I only just thought about it. I realized that Spring is coming. You might not believe me because a fat little furry thing told you otherwise, or we just got snow, but it’s true, I’ll tell you why. Yesterday I saw the first skateboarder out in the quad; not landing any tricks like usual, but there none the less.

You may not believe me either because you did not see him or you do not believe that the first skateboarder is a sign of spring but it is. The first skateboarder is like the first Robin. When you see it you know Spring time is coming.

On a side note about random observations, I saw a random fish sitting on the ground outside my residence. It looked fairly well preserved, most likely because it was frozen as it isn’t too warm outside. My theory for why it was there is that someone wanted to plant corn somewhere on campus and dropped one of the fish they were carrying to use for fertilizer.

A little update about my “business interests” aka my selling books on Amazon. Just sold a few more books to mail out tomorrow. I would recommend anyone who wants to make a little money and doesn’t mind damaging their personal library a little bit to sell their own books. You can be competitive with other sellers, and make a few dollars. Of course you can not make too much because most people look for the cheapest book available and sometimes that is less than $5.
